In October 09 I started selling a collection of 25 superb high-end left-handed guitars.
I am selling them singly on behalf of a friend who has inherited them, and has asked me to help them find good homes. If you are a discerning left-handed player looking for something special, one of these is for you! All of the guitars are in “excellent” to “as new” condition and have been cherished by their owner, obviously a very skilled enthusiast with an eye (and an ear) for hard-to-find, high quality instruments. All the factory-made guitars are the very top models in the range, or customised in some way. There are also a few VERY special hand-made items from small boutique guitar builders. If you tried to order new-built from these makers, you would have to wait up to two years before your guitar would be ready.
Most of these have already sold in the first 6 weeks after a successful posting of four guitars on ebay. I've been overwhelmed by the response - thank you to all buyers so far! Any guitars I cannot sell privately will be auctioned on ebay, although it is of course better from a cost point of view if potential customers contact me directly. My field of expertise is acoustic guitars, so I may not be able to answer all your questions about the electronics, specification variations etc. It has taken many days of detective work to track down exact models and realistic selling prices for all these excellent guitars. The prices I give here are in UK pounds, and are real prices that have been achieved on ebay or elsewhere for private sales. In all cases they are below what a dealer would ask. I am constantly adding to the details as I find out more about each guitar, so please check back frequently for new info.
I can ship worldwide with insurance, but I would prefer international buyers to organise shipping from their end, so they have full satisfaction on compensation and cost. Within the UK, I can courier the guitars to you or you are all welcome to visit me at the owner's premises and check them out.
