11 Jul Summer 2025 News and Gigs Update
Here we are in the middle of a heatwave just like many recent years! Hope you are all coping.
Back in March we had our annual St Patrick’s weekend gig marathon with The Rogues – just 5 gigs in 3 days this time, luxury!
By semi-retired standards, life has been relatively busy of late – including an unscheduled return to sound engineering at a recent Wetherby concert featuring The Hunch, Gaelforce and the Jon Palmer Acoustic Band. Just 37 different sound inputs and 20-minute changeovers – in at the deep end.
And another impromptu late-night sound job for The Hunch at Southwell Festival, which went well, as did my performing participation in the Top Ten collaboration and my MC spots on the Lake Stage.

23/08/25 ROGUES Shoulder of Mutton Huddersfield
18/11/25 SOLO Rusty Shears Whitby, 2pm lunchtime gig, pay as you feel
